Raising a Glass to the Champs 🍀
San Francisco Glens lean heavily into their Irish roots once again, this time with a set inspired by Celtic’s legendary 1967 European Cup-winning side. Marking the anniversary of the Lisbon Lions triumph, the club have teamed up with new manufacturer Aretyn Sports for a collection built around that connection.

The influence is obvious from the start. Green and white hoops dominate the home shirt, but the Glens work their own identity into it through a woven Celtic knot and cross pattern running throughout the design. It keeps the link clear without turning it into a straight copy.

Texture plays a big role too. The layered detailing across the fabric gives the shirt a more contemporary finish while still keeping the traditional look intact. Then there is the sponsor. Guinness returning to the front of the shirt feels perfectly matched to the theme and ties the whole presentation together naturally.

The away takes a different route. Predominantly black, it strips things back and allows the oversized four-leaf clover crest to become the focal point. Green detailing replaces the darker accents used on the home, while the fabric pattern stands out more clearly across the simpler base.

The result is a pair of kits that clearly draw from Celtic’s legacy while still feeling connected to the Glens themselves. Familiar inspiration, but handled with enough of their own identity throughout.
