Enter the Thunder Dragon 🐲
Bhutan’s second release with Hummel keeps the same bold energy as the home kit, but takes the design in a different direction.

Where the first centred around saffron orange and tradition, this away shifts focus fully onto the Druk Yul identity. The Thunder Dragon becomes the clear focal point, stretched across a striking red-to-blue gradient that immediately changes the tone of the set.

Prayer flags feature throughout the design as well, adding another visual connection to Bhutanese culture without overcrowding the shirt. The layering works nicely against the fade, giving the kit movement while still keeping the dragon front and centre.

The contrast between the two releases is what makes the collection interesting so far. One is warmer and more restrained in its detailing. This one feels more energetic and direct.

Two kits in, Bhutan and Hummel have already built a set with a strong identity behind it. Now attention turns to how the third design completes the collection.
