The Golden Goalie 🌅

Salmon Bay’s latest goalkeeper kit takes its inspiration from one of Seattle’s most recognisable summer settings, Golden Gardens Park, and turns it into a full watercolour-style design.

The connection is clear immediately. Warm sunset tones stretch across the shirt, blending together in layered brushstroke patterns that mirror the sky and water as evening sets in along the coast. It feels more like a painted scene than a standard goalkeeper jersey, which is exactly what gives it character.

The colours do most of the heavy lifting. Deep oranges, soft pinks and fading blues all move naturally into one another without becoming messy. The artwork stays the focal point throughout, helped by the sponsor and branding sitting cleanly within the design rather than overpowering it.

Wombi’s logo adapts well to the shirt too, blending into the overall look instead of fighting against it, while the club badge still stands out sharply against the brighter backdrop.

Goalkeeper kits often get treated as separate from the wider identity of a club. This one feels fully connected to place and atmosphere instead.
