Whole Lotta’ Soul
Power and presence. Seen and unseen.
Oakland Soul return with another concept-led release, drawing inspiration from the East Bay Regional Park and the energy that runs quietly through it. The idea is rooted in what cannot always be seen but is always felt. The hidden systems, the movement beneath the surface, and the connection between place and identity all feed into this latest set.

The home kit leans fully into that unseen element. Dark, wispy and almost weightless in its appearance, it carries a quieter intensity. The detailing sits subtly within the fabric, with “Soul” emerging through the pattern rather than dominating it. There is a restraint to it, but it still holds presence. The badge cuts through cleanly, giving the design a clear focal point.

The alternate takes that same concept in a different direction. Where the first is abstract, this one becomes more physical. It could easily feel overworked, but it does not. Floral elements and natural forms keep it balanced, giving it life rather than weight.

Both designs sit under the same theme but approach it from different angles. One is quiet and atmospheric. The other is expressive and direct.

Oakland Soul continue to build a clear identity through storytelling. Not every club leans this heavily into concept, but when it is done with this level of clarity, it connects.
